Creative Impulses

Focusing the creative urge is one of life’s greatest challenges. The beauty is that we can choose to be creative in a variety of ways. We can make music, videos, artwork, conversations, poems, gardens, websites, you name it! Too many of us are blocked in our creativity and we feel shy about expressing ourselves through dance or through song or through whatever. Choose to create. Choose to be more interested in the energy of creativity than what people will think of what you created. Once we are able to tap into the creative energy and we can feel the impulse to create flowing through us, then we can set ourselves a higher goal: to create not just for the purpose of creating something, but to create something of value and meaning for others, for our culture, for our world and even for our universe. Now that is high creativity!
